Impact Analytical offers state-of-the art analytical testing, method development and contract research, carried out by scientific staff with a broad range of experience. The Thermal Analysis laboratory utilises the techniques of DSC, TGA, DMA and TMA to characterise the thermal and physical properties of materials. Specific determinations include glass transition temperatures, enthalpies of phase transitions, kinetic constants, crystalline melting points, specific heats, percent crystallinities, degradation temperatures, viscoelastic properties, percent weight losses, material softening points and thermal expansion coefficients.
