The TGA/SDTA851e and the TMA/SDTA840 are equipped with connections for FTIR and MS gas analyses. The TGA/SDTA851e design makes the instrument well suited for Evolved Gas Analysis: Small volume furnace, reactive gas inlet close to sample, minimal temperature gradients, large gas flow range for quick gas exchange, minimal turbulence at high gas flow rate and easy connection to a temperature controlled gas transfer line. The TMA/SDTA840 is the only commercially available TMA offering EGA coupling options.
